ABOUT ME
Photography has been with me my entire life. I am in love with the still image; how it’s dependent on gradients of light and how a frame can intensify a composition and seize the viewer with luminance and intriguing subject matter.

Think about your life: it’s surrounded by movement. Endless motion in reality, in our dreams, and in our digital world - online, on our phones, on our tablets, on our TVs. Everything is kinetic: from the cells in our bodies to the traffic on our freeways; life is motion.

That’s why the still image is so compelling. A great photograph brings time to a standstill and invites us to focus attention on the details of an occasion. Sweat flying from the forehead of a great band’s lead singer, a kiss between lovers on a rainy city street, or a gentle smile from a child in a foreign nation - photographs are memories we can hold in our hands.
The still image and I have a deeply personal relationship and I would be honored to photograph you, your performance, your event, or your product.

I am at home shooting on location or in a studio and equally comfortable embracing natural light or studio lighting.
